The Keys of the Kingdom of Heaven Discovered in the World Mission Society of Church of God

Hello. My name is JY, Kim. I want to share my personal experience at the World Mission Society Church of God (WMSCOG) and how I have received the truth. People install safety latches to prevent strangers from coming into their houses to protect their family and fortune. That is why people have keys to get into their own houses. If someone enters into a house forcefully without a key, he is a thief and does not live in the house. If you witness a scene like that, should you not call the police? Likewise, we must have a key to go into the house of God, the Kingdom of heaven or we will fail to enter the house of God. Then, let’s look at what the key, that allows us to enter the kingdom of heaven is and how to get it.

Matthew 16:19~20 I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” Then he warned his disciples not to tell anyone that he was the Christ.

Peter was given the key from Jesus. What does it mean? Receiving the keys of the kingdom of heaven implies that we, too, should receive the keys of the kingdom of heaven to enter the kingdom of heaven. Then, what are the keys of the kingdom of heaven?

Isaiah 22:22 I will place on his shoulder the key to the house of David; what he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open.

Prophet Isaiah said that there would appear a man who holds the key to the house of David and what he opens on one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open. Also, the same prophecy was given through Apostle John.

Revelation 3:7~8 “To the angel of the church in Philadelphia write: These are the words of him who is holy and true, who holds the key of David. What he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open. I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut. I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name.

Apostle John said that what he, who holds the key of David, opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open. What is the relationship between the kingdom of heaven and David? It said that “The keys of the kingdom of heaven” were given to Peter but in the prophecies of the Prophet Isaiah and Apostle John it was called “the key of David”; the kingdom of heaven and David have an inseparable relationship.

Hosea 3:5 Afterward the Israelites will return and seek the LORD their God and David their king. They will come trembling to the LORD and to his blessings in the last days.

The meaning of the last days is the end of the world. It said that in the last days, they can come to God’s blessing, salvation by seeking and revering David. However, the book of Hosea was written about 250 years after David died, so David to be sought is not the physical David, the King of Israel. Then, who is the prophetical David? As you know well, it is Jesus. (Luke 1:31) David implies Christ coming in the flesh.

That is to say that the key of David is the key of Christ coming in the flesh. Since we receive salvation and enter the kingdom of heaven through Christ, the Key of the kingdom of heaven means Christ. How did peter receive the key of the kingdom of heaven?

When Jesus asked his disciples who people thought he was, Peter recognized that Jesus is Christ rightly and Jesus gave him the keys of the kingdom of heaven. In other words, the way to  receive the keys of the kingdom of heaven is to recognize God(Christ) coming in the flesh and receive Him. Satan, however, absolutely hates it when we recognize Christ and receive the keys of the kingdom of heaven and go back to the heavenly home. Since they cannot enter the kingdom of heaven they have been hindering us from recognizing Christ rightly to hold us, who are struggling to, back from entering the kingdom of heaven.

Matthew 23:13 “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You shut the kingdom of heaven in men’s faces. You yourselves do not enter, nor will you let those enter who are trying to.

As it is written in the book of Matthew 23:13, they shut the kingdom of heaven and do not let us enter who are trying to. How do they block and shut the kingdom of heaven?

Luke 11:52 “Woe to you experts in the law, because you have taken away the key to knowledge. You yourselves have not entered, and you have hindered those who were entering.”

What does a false prophet take away from us? That is “the key to knowledge”. Previously, it was said that the Key of the kingdom of heaven is Christ, why does it say “the Key to knowledge” in this verse? It is the reason that we have to have knowledge to recognize Christ to get into the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, in Hosea chapter 4, it says God’s people are destroyed from lack of knowledge.

Even though the keys of the kingdom of heaven are given to us, if the knowledge to know Christ is lost, the keys of the kingdom of heaven are taken away. That is why we need to keep the knowledge to know Christ all the time in order to not to lose the keys of the kingdom of heaven. Apostle Paul said the highest knowledge is the knowledge to know Christ.

Philippians 3:7~9 But whatever was to my profit I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ–the righteousness that comes from God and is by faith.

Though, from a worldly point of view, Apostle Paul was a highly educated person, he considered his vast knowledge rubbish and confessed that only the knowledge to know Christ was most noble. Then, what knowledge of knowing Christ did the Apostle Paul mean was noble?

Philippians 2:5~8 Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death– even death on a cross!

1Timothy 2:5 For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,

The knowledge to recognize Christ, in other words, God in the flesh is the knowledge of knowing Christ that the Apostle Paul was talking about. Then, how can we recognize God in the flesh? We can recognize Christ in the flesh only through the Bible.

John 5:39 You diligently study the Scriptures because you think that by them you possess eternal life. These are the Scriptures that testify about me,

By the Bible, we can fully recognize and receive Christ in the flesh. The Bible tells us that the Saviors of the Holy Spirit age are the Spirit and the Bride; Christ Ahnsahnghong and His bride Heavenly Jerusalem Mother, They are the Saviors who came in the flesh in the last days according to all the prophecies in the Bible. Like the Apostle Paul was given the key of the kingdom of heaven when he recognized Christ in the flesh and acknowledged Him, we will be given the keys of the kingdom of heaven by recognizing and acknowledging Heavenly Father Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother who came to the earth in the flesh as the Spirit and the Bride in the age of Holy Spirit, the last days. Let us do so and unlock the door of the kingdom of heaven confidently with the keys of the kingdom of heaven and enter the kingdom of heaven, the house of Heavenly Father, where Heavenly Father dwells.
