These days there are many different churches in the world.

However, there is only one true church Jesus established.

How can people distinguish the true church from other churches?

Jesus gave the answer through the parable of the weeds.

Matthew chapter 13 verse 24
The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field. But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and went away...

He answered... Let both grow together until the harvest. ... collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat and bring it into my barn."

First, the owner sowed good seeds but then the enemy sowed weeds later.
If the weeds are not pulled up and left to grow there will be more weeds than wheat at harvest time.

What does this parable mean?

Matthew 13:37~42
The one who sowed the good seed is the Son of Man (Jesus)... the enemy who sows them (the weeds) is the devil. The harvest is the end of the age... all who do evil (those who practice lawlessness, NKJV).
They will throw them into the blazing furnace.

The parable of the weeds is a prophecy about what will happen in this world from the time of Jesus to the end of the world.

The good seed first sown by Jesus is the gospel of Heaven.

The weed sown later by the enemy, the devil are false gospels.

The owners said to gather the weeds and burn them in the Fire.
He said that those who do evil (practice lawlessness) will be thrown into the blazing furnace.

Therefore, the weeds sown by the devil are lawlessness.
Because the owners said not to pull up the weeds but let them grow, lawlessness sold by the devil, will be more prevalent in the last days.

Then, what must we do to be saved?

Our faith must resemble the apostles' faith in the days of the early church before the devil sowed the weeds.

The standard of faith in the Early Church was the teachings of Jesus and of the apostles.

Ephesians 2:20
built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone.

The truths of the Early Church taught by Jesus and the apostles were the New Covenant Sabbath, the Passover, and veil regulation for women.

However, Sunday worship, Christmas, and cross reverence are lawlessness, they are the weeds, which Jesus and the apostles never taught.

Even if many people follow lawlessness, the places that practice lawlessness are weed-like churches.

The church that follows the Truth of the Early Church that Jesus and the apostles practiced is the True Church that will enter the heavenly barn.
