In preparation for the Day of Atonement, the LORD appointed the first day of seventh month as the Feast of Trumpets. He appointed the day, on which Moses came down from Mount Sinai with the two tablets of the Ten Commandments, as the Day of Atonement.
How many sacrifices have been made to atone for my sins! In the Old Testament, we can only see the sacrifices of sheep, goats, and bulls.
