In general churches, there is what is called a church record book, but it is a little different from the life book spoken of in the Church of God. It is thought that the church register in the general church is the attendance record of the school. It's a book that lists the names of people who come to church.
However, the book of life of the Church of God does not mean that only attendance is checked, but it is a great honor that the name is recorded.
Daniel 12:1 "At that time Michael, the great prince who protects your people, will arise. There will be a time of distress such as has not happened from the beginning of nations until then. But at that time your people--everyone whose name is found written in the book--will be delivered.
This verse prophesies that there will be children who will receive great glory in the future.
They are said to be those who are written in the book.Through the words that those who are written in the book will be saved, we can know that it is a book in which the names of the children who will be saved are written. This book is the book of life in which the names of the children who will be saved are recorded.
Could such a book of life exist in any church?
Jesus gave Peter the keys to the kingdom of heaven and made him build a church.
The name of the church that Peter and the apostles went to is the Church of God!
Then, what commandments did the Church of God that the apostles attended 2,000 years ago keep?There were no Sundays or Christmas in the Church of God with the Book of Life where the apostles attended, and the Sabbath and Passover were kept.
The Church of God does not simply say that it has the book of life, but it is a church that fully keeps the commandments of God, such as the Sabbath and Passover kept by the apostles.

The importance of the book of life is beyond imagination. Anyone whose name is written in the book of life will shine forever like the stars in the sky. Nevertheless, most Christians have no idea of the book of life. Our names are to be written in the book of life to receive all God's blessing written in the Bible.
