While walking on the path of faith with the hope of Heaven, we should do the work of
the gospel, looking toward the spiritual rewards in Heaven just like Moses and Apostle
Paul.

Because Moses was looking ahead to his reward, he chose to be a prophet of God rather than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a short time.

Apostle Paul also was confident that the crown of righteousness was prepared for him by God, and he encouraged us to endure hardship and to do the work of an evangelist.


2 Tim 4:6-8 But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry.
For I am already being poured out like a drink offering, and the time has come for my
departure.
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous
Judge, will award to me on that day--and not only to me but also to all who have
longed for his appearing.

The crown of life refers to the spiritual reward we will receive. We should remember the
day when we will receive the crown of life is just around the corner.

Rev 22: 12 "Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done.

Then, what kinds of work should we do for the crown of eternal life?

Mat 28: 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

According to the words of Jesus, what we have to do is to make disciples of all nations,
baptizing them, and teaching them to obey everything Jesus commanded.

Dan 12:3 Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever.

God gave us the goal of life which is to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. God will also allow the crown of Eternal Life to those who lead many to righteousness.
We should carry out what God commanded us.
Let's lead many people to righteousness so that we are like stars forever!
