As believers in God, we should follow the words of God and keep the commandments of God. God commands us to keep God's law and grants us abundant blessings when we obey it as God said.

Deut 28:1
If you fully obey the LORD your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the LORD your God will set you high above all the nations on earth.

But, God teaches us that we will be punished when we disobey God's commandments.

Deut
28:15 However, if you do not obey the LORD your God and do not carefully follow all his commands and decrees I am giving you today, all these curses will come upon you and overtake you:

Then, why does God give us the commandments?
Why is God at His happiest when we keep the words of God?

Because obeying God's commandments is the way that we are able to live.

God only wants our souls to live and worries that we may deviate from the way of the kingdom of heaven.
So God, our spiritual Parents, continuously teaches and leads us the right way.

We were sinners from Heaven and had to die in Hell because of our grave sins.
The only reason why God crucified on the cross and walked on the hardest way of the gospel is because of our salvation.

Then, let us choose the way to live and practice what God commanded us.
We, too, have to repay God for God's love and sacrifice. Let us give praise and happiness to God Elohim by following God's words and by carrying out what God wants us to!
