As the presentation began, the speaker suddenly displayed a complex math problem on the screen and asked for a volunteer to come forward and solve it. Instantly, a wave of nervous tension swept through the room, and I could feel my own heart going boom, boom, boom. The speaker then transitioned into asking how we usually relieve such everyday stress, introducing fascinating scientific studies conducted by the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the Stanford University School of Medicine.

Melting Away Stress in a Flash

According to the research, when children were put under immense stress, causing their cortisol (stress hormone) levels to soar, simply hearing their mother's voice over the telephone had a remarkable effect. They experienced a dramatic rise in oxytocin (the love hormone) and their stress virtually vanished, showing the exact same hormonal recovery as children who were comforted by their mothers in person. Previously, it was believed that oxytocin release required physical contact, but a mother's voice alone triggered the exact same comforting response.

Furthermore, an MRI brain scan study from Stanford University revealed that children could identify their mother's voice with an astonishing 97% accuracy, even when listening to a clip less than one second long. Listening to these scientific facts in the audience, I felt goosebumps all over my body. God created the earthly system of motherhood to let us perceive the invisible reality of the spiritual world.

"it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body."

Just as an earthly mother forms an unbreakable, lifelong bond with her child through nine months of pregnancy, suffering, and bloodshed, our souls also have a spiritual Mother who gives us eternal life.

Galatians 4:26

"But the Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother."

In this chaotic, stressful world where our souls get easily wounded, the only way to find ultimate comfort and peace is to listen to the voice of Heavenly Mother. Just as a physical mother's voice rewires and develops a child's brain, the life-giving words from Heavenly Mother hold the supreme authority to cleanse, recreate, and transform our broken souls.

At the climax of the presentation, the speaker explained Revelation 21:9, testifying that New Jerusalem Heavenly Mother has come down to this earth in the flesh so that we could hear Her voice. Hearing about Her hidden sacrifice and unconditional love endured for 6,000 years just to save Her children brought tears to my eyes. It was a deeply blessed time that made me resolve to always listen to, obey, and absolutely believe in Heavenly Mother’s resounding voice.
