최근 한국의 독자들은 카카오페이지나 네이버 시리즈 같은 온라인 플랫폼에서 로맨스 판타지와 현대 판타지 소설을 즐겨 읽는다. 특히 ‘회귀’, ‘빙의’, ‘환생’은 이제 하나의 공식처럼 자리 잡았다. 평범하고 지친 일상을 살아가던 주인공이 어느 날 전혀 다른 세계의 귀족으로 다시 태어나거나, 아름다운 외모와 막대한 재산을 가진 인물의 몸에 빙의한다. 그리고 결국 사랑과 성공까지 얻으며 행복한 결말을 맞는다.
