Jesus showed us the first step to forgiveness of sins, baptism, and taught us as a rule (John 3:22). Baptism is a holy ceremony to receive forgiveness of capital sins and be reborn as a child of God.
You must be baptized immediately after realizing Christ. (Acts 16:13-15)
They were baptized on the road. (Acts 8:27-38)
They were baptized even in the dark of the night. (Acts 16:25-33)
Why do we get baptized immediately after realizing Christ?
It is because we believe in God’s promise that if we receive forgiveness of sins through baptism, even if our body dies, our soul will live forever.
That is why baptism is given in the name of the Savior who has the power to forgive sins and give us eternal life. (Matthew 28:19)

You must be baptized in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Today, we live in the age of the Holy Spirit, so can we be baptized in the name of the age of the Holy Spirit? Only the Church of God believes in and preaches the Savior of the age of the Holy Spirit, Christ Ahnsahnghong.

Baptism, the sign of salvation, is a commandment of God that can never be postponed.

Baptism is the first step so that the sinner enter into heavenly kingdom. Nobody expect the eternal life in heaven without the forgiveness of sin. As we are mortal beings, we can not go to heaven in where is no death. So, we need baptism which is the gift of God to be forgiven our sin.
