God made the seventh day the Sabbath.

The Sabbath is the day God created the heavens and the earth in six days and rested on the seventh day. (Genesis 2:3)

The seventh-day Sabbath is a day to commemorate God's creation.

God gave the fourth commandment of the Ten Commandments.

"Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy." (Exodus 20:8)

The Sabbath is a sign between God and His people.

It is the day when God sanctifies His people (Ezekiel 20:12).

So what day is the seventh day?

Sunday: The first day of the week

Saturday: The seventh day of the week

The dictionary says the seventh day is Saturday.

If you look at the calendar, the seventh-day Sabbath is Saturday.

The Bible says that

Jesus was resurrected on the first day of the week (Mark 16:9)

For the same verse, the Good New Bible says

Jesus resurrected on Sunday. (Mk 16:9)

So, what day is the Sabbath?

The Sabbath is Saturday.

Jesus and the apostles set an example of Sabbath observance.

"Jesus... went into the synagogue on the Sabbath [Saturday], as was His custom." (Luke 4:16)

“Paul, as was his custom, entered the synagogue and on the three Sabbath day reasoned with them from the Scriptures…” (Acts 17:2)

Just as Jesus and His disciples observed the Sabbath [Saturday], God’s people should keep the Sabbath day [Saturday] which God appointed.
