ASEZ WAO, the youth volunteer group of the World Mission Society Church of God, is taking the lead in global greening by planting 7 billion trees, one tree per person, through the Mother’s Forest Project. To this end, ASEZ WAO is setting national goals for planting by 2030 based on the population of each country and is working with governments and international organizations. If you participate in the one-person-one-tree movement through the ASEZ WAO Mother’s Forest Project, the following effects will occur.
• Delay global warming
One tree produces 1.8 tons of oxygen and absorbs 2.5 tons of carbon dioxide annually
•Suppress desertification
Tree roots absorb water and nutrients, preventing the land from drying out
• Increase biodiversity
Soil enriched by trees planted on land provides a home for plants and animals
ASEZ WAO hopes that everyone will join in saving the Earth by planting 7 billion trees of hope through the Mother’s Forest Project.
