Have you ever heard about the "BOOK OF LIFE"? It is written in the Book of Revelation. John wrote that anyone who is not be written in the book of life will be thrown into the fire - hell. It's a second death.

[Revelation 20:12-15]
And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what he had done. Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. If anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.


Here, the Bible tells us about great blessings that we would get.

[Isaiah 4:2~4]
In that day the Branch of the LORD will be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the land will be the pride and glory of the survivors in Israel. Those who are left in Zion, who remain in Jerusalem, will be called holy, all who are recorded among the living in Jerusalem. The Lord will wash away the filth of the women of Zion; he will cleanse the bloodstains from Jerusalem by a spirit of judgment and a spirit of fire.

The prophet Isaiah said that those who are recorded will be called "holy". You can be called holy only when your sin has been washed away and cleaned up. Therefore, those who are recorded in the book of life are those who have been forgiveness of our sin.

​Moreover, we - who has name on the Book of Life can even get "salvation"

[Daniel 12:1~3]
"At that time Michael, the great prince who protects your people, will arise. There will be a time of distress such as has not happened from the beginning of nations until then. But at that time your people--everyone whose name is found written in the book--will be delivered. Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt. Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever.
Daniels also records that only those recorded in the book of life are saved when there are hardships that have not been found (since the founding of the country). As such, the issue of name being recorded in the life book is a very important truth whether we are saved or not.

God promised us that He would save us, and make our name shine forever and ever!
