Is the Passover a merely teaching of the Old Testament?

If it is right, Jesus would not have celebrated the Passover.
But, in the book of Matthew (Matt 26:17~19), Jesus declared He would celebrate the Passover. He even said like this, "I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer..."(Luke 22:15).
So, it is wrong to think that we don't need to keep the Passover in the New Testament times. If you believe in Jesus and follow Him, you must keep the Passover according to the example of Jesus. And the apostles continued to keep the Passover even after Jesus was sacrificed on the cross.
1Co 5:7~8 ...Therefore let us keep the Festival[Passover]...
So, we must keep the Passover of the new covenant according to the example of Jesus and the apostles.

Amen! Every teaching and path of Jesus is teaching that we should follow for our salvation.
Jesus and the apostles kept the Passover of the New Covenant 2,000 years ago. As believers in God, we should follow and keep what Jesus kept and preached. Let's keep the Passover and preach it to the world!

In the New Testament times the disciples and God's people were told to keep the Passover by Christ Jesus with bread and wine to be prepared and get salvation. In the age of the Holy Spirit, God's children shoud keep the Passover because we're given that commands by Christ Ahnsahnghong.
