Why do women in the Church of God wear #veils on their heads during worship?
When you look at photos or videos of scenes from the Church of God around the world, there is something amazing. How come the worship scene is so similar in every country? All the female saints wore veils on their heads, but none of the male saints wore any.
God has established rules for believers to follow when worshiping, and one of these rules includes rules for covering veils on their heads.
Is head covering veils also a rule of God?
Of course.
"A man ought not to cover his head, since he is the image and glory of God; but the woman is the glory of man."(1 Corinthians 11:7)
The Bible teaches that men should not cover their heads when they worship or pray. If they do not do this while worshipping, wouldn’t it be an act that covers the glory of God?
That's true.
What about women?
"And every woman who prays or prophesies with her head uncovered dishonors her head--it is just as though her head were shaved. If a woman does not cover her head, she should have her hair cut off; and if it is a disgrace for a woman to have her hair cut or shaved off, she should cover her head."(1 Corinthians 11:5-6)
The Bible tells us that women must cover their heads when worshiping in this way.
