The Bible teaches that we must keep God's commandments, whether in the Old or New Testament.
However, some people argue that because the law was abolished, there was no longer a need to keep the law in the New Testament times, and all that was required was faith.
In fact, the term legalistic is used a lot of times to slight at those who teach about the Law of God in the New Testament times.
So, is it not necessary to love and keep the law of God as taught in the Bible?
The Bible explained the law through the Apostle Paul.
1 Corinthians 9:20-21 To the Jews I became like a Jew, to win the Jews.
To those under the law I became like one under the law (though I myself am not under the law), so as to win those under the law.
21 To those not having the law I became like one not having the law (though I am not free from God’s law but am under Christ’s law), so as to win those not having the law.
Paul explained that although he was free from the “law of Moses” (there was no need to keep the Old Testament law), he was actually not free from the “law of God” but under the “law of Christ” (the New Testament law had to be kept).
This means that there are two “laws of God”: the law of Moses in the Old Testament times and the law of Christ in the New Testament times.
It is explained that the Old Testament law of Moses was simply changed to the New Testament law.
Hebrews 7:12 When the priesthood changes, the law must also change.
Jesus did not come to abolish the law of Moses, but to establish a new law, the law of Christ.
So Jesus said that he came to fulfill the law.
Matthew 5:17 “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.
In the New Testament times, Jesus set an example of keeping the laws of the Sabbath, Passover, and Tabernacles.
Therefore, even in the New Testament times, there are clear laws that God's people must follow.
Just as our ancestors in faith, such as King David and Apostle Paul, loved and cherished God's law with all their hearts, we in the New Testament times must also love and keep God's law.

Only those who do the will of God can enter heaven.
God taught us to keep the New Covenant and receive eternal life.
You can enter heaven only by keeping the New Covenant Passover and the Sabbath.
Members of the World Mission Society Church of God (WMSCOG) are promised eternal life by keeping the truth of the new covenant according to the teachings of Christ Ahnsahnghong and God the Mother.
Amen.
Many people do not know the importance of keeping the New Covenant. They think that by only belief they can receive salvation. However, the Bible says "faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.". Then, what should we keep?
There are two kinds of laws in the Bible: The law of Moses and the law of Christ. The law of Christ is the law of the New Covenant. We should keep the New Covenant that Jesus established for our salvation.
