According to the New Covenant Gospel preached by the Church of God, blessed bread was eaten on Resurrection day, following the teachings of Jesus. Boiled eggs eaten at Easter did not originate from Christianity.

Only the Church of God celebrates the Day of Resurrection by breaking bread according to the Bible and God's way.

When most people think of Jesus’ resurrection, they think of Easter eggs. However, Easter eggs are not biblical. Even the name of the feast, Easter, is not biblical, either. Many people do not know that these are all derived from pagan religions and mythology. In the Bible, there is only a record of the Early Church members breaking bread and eating it to commemorate the resurrection of Jesus. Ester originated from a pagan custom. Rabbits and eggs symbolizing Ester are also pagan customs. On Resurrection Day, Jesus broke bread for his disciples and opened their spiritual eyes. Following the example of Jesus, let us observe Resurrection Day by eating bread and receive the blessing of fully recognizing the savior of this age.

We should follow the examples set by Jesus for giving us salvation. As for the celebration of Jesus' resurrection, most of Christians normally share colorful eggs and chocolate bunnies one another. But this tradition is originated from pagan's tradition, and even a word 'Easter' was named after 'Eostre' the goodness. So we need to wake up and get out of this lawlessness rampant now in churches. According to the example of Christ, God's people must share bread to open our spiritual eyes on the day of Jesus' resurrection.
