God has taught us an important lesson through the history of Jonah and Joshua.
What do Jonah and Joshua have in common? The common keyword that Jonah and Joshua have is courage.
They who were courageous in doing God's work experienced the miracle that was accomplished by God's ability.
Likewise, courage is the essential factor for us to enter the Kingdom of Heaven in this age.

Joshua 1: 6-9
"Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their forefathers to give them.
Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go.
Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go."

In the desert, after exploring the land of Canaan, Joshua was faithful enough to say "They[the Nephilim] are bread for us". To Joshua, God kept teaching the mind of courage in order not for him to forget boldness.
Let's learn about courage through the history of Jonah, too.

Jonah 1: 1-3, 4-5, 10
The word of the LORD came to Jonah son of Amittai:
"Go to the great city of Nineveh and preach against it, because its wickedness has come up before me."
But Jonah ran away from the LORD and headed for Tarshish. He went down to Joppa, where he found a ship bound for that port. After paying the fare, he went aboard and sailed for Tarshish to flee from the LORD.

..On the first day, Jonah started into the city. He proclaimed: "Forty more days and Nineveh will be overturned."
The Ninevites believed in God. They declared a fast, and all of them, from the greatest to the least, put on sackcloth.

..When God saw what they did and how they turned from their evil ways, he had compassion and did not bring upon them the destruction he had threatened.

When Jonah was ordered by God to proclaim that Nineveh would be overthrown in 40 days, He ran away due to a lack of courage. But, after Jonah repented his sins and had an attitude of boldness, his action resulted in saving about 120,000 people.

It is the same with our role. We, too, need to be courageous while preaching the gospel of the New Covenant.
God is the One who initiated the work through Joshua and Jonah. When we have 100% faith in God and courage, God makes enormous changes in the gospel work.

Christ Ahnsahnghong said, "Just flip the switch with faith".
Let us do the work of the gospel with firm faith and boldness so that all the work will be completely accomplished by God's help!

Isaiah 41: 10
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
