The Church of God, Christ Ahnsahnghong does not erect a cross.
Today, the church that believes in God considers the cross as a sign and symbol and sets up a cross, but nowhere in the Bible does it teach to set up a cross. Rather, the cross is the target of curse, and it tells us that it is an idol. According to the teachings of the Bible, the Church of God Christ Ahnsahnghong does not erect crosses because they are idols. If Jesus was killed by a cross and insisted that the church should erect a cross, on the contrary, if he was killed by a sword or gun rather than a cross, the conclusion follows that the church today must erect a knife or gun.

When did God tell us to use the cross as a symbol of the church? Where is it recorded in the Bible? When was the cross first erected? Is it God's will? If all of these questions are answered correctly, then it is God's will that we should do it. Why did an idol that God hates come to represent the church? Who on earth would allow something that God hates to point to the place where God's saints gather?

Worship of the cross is not the truth of the early church. They are idols created after Jesus and the apostles. It has no value or power. We must break down the idols of the cross and keep the Passover of the new covenant established by Jesus through the sacrifice of the cross.

It's idolatry that follows a visible figure. We have to live the right faith based on the words of the Bible.

For many people, the cross naturally reminds them of the church. For Christians who believe in Jesus, the cross has a special meaning. However, that special meaning does not mean that a cross must be erected. The apostle Paul said that there is nothing to boast about except the cross. This clearly shows that the New Covenant Passover, established with Jesus’ holy blood shed on the cross, is the most valuable truth. Making the image of a cross while forgetting the truth of the New Covenant Passover is just an act of worshiping idols.

God commanded us not to make any images of God. The cross is one of them. So, following the teaching of the Bible, we should not make cross.

Before, I too thought the cross is symbol of the church. But now I came to know how to serve God.
