The meaning of the Day of Resurrection is that just as Jesus died and rose from the dead, we too will be raised from the dead when our sinful bodies are transformed and we go to heaven. Jesus set the example by being raised as the first fruits from the dead, but where did the hard-boiled eggs, dead eggs, and bunnies come from that have nothing to do with that meaning? If we're Christians, shouldn't we check it against the Bible to make sure it's correct and keep the custom? What would Jesus think if He saw it?

In the book of Luke 24:30~31, [When he was at the table with them, he took bread, gave thaks, broke it and began to give it to them. Then their eyes were opened and they recognized him, and he disappeared from their sight.] According to the Bible, Jesus Christ and the disciples ate the bread. And then the spiritual eyes of the disciples was opened. therefore, we have to eat the bread, not eggs.

According to history, Easter actually originated as an ancient pagan celebration of the spring equinox. In other words, Easter has nothing to do with the Resurrection of Jesus. Today, only the World Mission Society Church of God (WMSCOG) oberves the Resurrection Day on the date designated in the Bible. Please come to the Church of God to celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus on the exact date based on the Bibe.
