Many people around the world believe in God and hope for heaven. Most of them think that we can be saved only by faith, not by keeping the Passover. But WMSCOG keeps the Passover of the New Covenant having faith to receive salvation. Those who think that there's no more need to keep the Passover insist that WMSCOG is a heretical church because the Church of God keeps the Passover.

Then can we define keeping the Passover as heresy? How can we distinguish it? By a personal opinion? No. We must distinguish whether WMSCOG is a heretical church or not by the Bible which is the most correct criterion.

Ex 12:10-14 Do not leave any of it till morning; if some is left till morning, you must burn it. This is how you are to eat it: with your cloak tucked into your belt, your sandals on your feet and your staff in your hand. Eat it in haste; it is the Lord’s Passover. “On that same night I will pass through Egypt and strike down every firstborn of both people and animals, and I will bring judgment on all the gods of Egypt. I am the Lord. The blood will be a sign for you on the houses where you are, and when I see the blood, I will pass over you. No destructive plague will touch you when I strike Egypt. “This is a day you are to commemorate; for the generations to come you shall celebrate it as a festival to the Lord—a lasting ordinance.

In the Old Testament times, who commanded the Passover? It was God. God commanded the Israelites to keep the Passover. The Israelites kept the Passover following God’s command and they could come out of Egypt.

Mt 26:17:19 On the first day of the Festival of Unleavened Bread, the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Where do you want us to make preparations for you to eat the Passover?” He replied, “Go into the city to a certain man and tell him, ‘The Teacher says: My appointed time is near. I am going to celebrate the Passover with my disciples at your house.’ ” So the disciples did as Jesus had directed them and prepared the Passover.

Here, who commanded the disciples to keep the Passover in the New Testament times? It was Jesus Christ. In every age, it was God who commanded to keep the Passover. And in every age, those who believed in God kept the Passover. Because they believe that keeping the Passover is the will of God. Actually, it is absolutely right to keep the Passover as those who belong to God. The Israelites who kept the Passover following God’s command were not heresies. The disciples of Jesus who kept the Passover were not heresies. It was not that the Apostles kept the Passover because they were heresies. The early church where kept the Passover was the same. The early church was not heretical, but an authentic church. The true church must keep the Passover following God’s will.

WMSCOG keeps the Passover because the church of God follows God’s will. It is not that WMSCOG keeps the Passover because the church of God is the heretical church. WMSCOG is the authentic church, not the heretical church. Let’s keep the Passover as God commanded. God will give us overflowing heavenly blessings.
