According to the teachings of the Bible, those living in this earth are sinner who are destined to die because of their sins.

[Rom 6:23] For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

To receive the forgiveness of sins, we must pay our life for the wages of our sins.
However, if we pay our life to receive the forgiveness of sins, then we cannot exist anymore and what good is the salvation for us? Though we are sinned, we can never escape from this destiny with our own ability. That's why God came down this earth to sacrifice on behalf of us.

[Jn 1:29] The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, "Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!

God alone took away all our sins instead of us. He sacrificed Himself as a Passover Lamb to pay for our sins.

[1 Cor 5:7] Get rid of the old yeast that you may be a new batch without yeast--as you really are. For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed.

Jesus Christ established the Passover of the New Covenant to give us the forgiveness of sins and eternal life by His sacrifice on the cross. When we keep the Passover, we can have the forgiveness of sins and eternal life.

[Jn 6:53-54] Jesus said to them, "I tell you the truth, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.

[Mt 26:27-28] Then he took the cup, gave thanks and offered it to them, saying, "Drink from it, all of you. This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.

However, Since the Passover of the New Covenant was abolished at the Councils of Nicaea in A.D. 325, no one have been able to get salvation. For this reason, Christ Ahnsahnghong, second coming Jesus, came into this earth. He restored the Passover of the New Covenant and opened the way for us to receive the forgiveness of sins and eternal life again. Without His coming, we would have been just mere sinners who are destined to die. Let's believe in Christ Ahnsahnghong who have come to this earth to give us eternal life.
