Among the Ten Commandments, the first one is that “You shall have no other gods before me”(Ex 20:3). It contains the two meanings in which God’s people must not worship any other gods and only worship God Elohim, the Creators. However the Israelites who claimed to believe in God fell in the temptation to other gods, so-called sun-gods, and served them, as seen in the Old Testament. What is the way to turn to God Elohim again and worship no other gods? The way to worship no other gods but only God Elohim is to celebrate the Passover.

Ex 12:11~14 It is the LORD’s Passover. On that same night I will pass through Egypt and strike down every firstborn – both men and animals – and I will bring judgment on all the gods of Egypt. I am the LORD.

To observe the Passover in the way to worship no other gods but turn to God Elohim. Whenever we keep the Passover, other gods are going to be destroyed by God and God’s people get rid of all the idols that they have been worshiping, not knowing they’re the detestable gods. Therefore we must keep the Passover of the New Covenant annually without fail till the end in the appointed time in order to worship God Elohim only, our Heavenly Parents.
