If there is someone who does doing something without the purpose or the goal, his life will be meaningless and come to nothing. Every human activity has tis own purpose and goal. For example, the reason to go to school is to learn, to go to clinic is to have treatment and to go to the amusement park is to play. Likewise we have to have the specific purpose and the goal to believe in God Elohim. Then what is the goal of our faith, going to church? We can get the firm answer through the Bible.

1Pe 1:8~9 Though you have not seen him, you love him. You are receiving the goal of your faith, the salvation of your souls.

What is the state of being saved and getting salvation for our souls? Our souls will be in danger of dying if we fail to be saved. The state of being saved and getting salvation refers to being freed from the danger of death, rather having eternal life. Then what did Jesus Christ tell us to get eternal life? He told us that we have to inherit His flesh and blood according to the Book of John 5:53~54.

Mt 26:26~28 While they were eating, Jesus took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to his disciples, saying “Take and eat: this is my body.” Then he took the cup[wine], gave thanks and offered it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. This is my blood of the covenant, which is poure out for many for the forgiveness of sins.”

Being freed from the danger of death and getting eternal life is possible to keep the Passover, It is because through the Passover we can inherit the flesh and blood of Jesus. Therefore to achieve the goal of ou faith, having the salvation, we must keep the Passover.
