Who is the author of the Bible?
The meaning of the Bible is originated from the Greek word “book”.
The Bible is consisted with Old Testament and New Testament.
It is reported by Moses first and apostle John last for 1600 years old. Among of reporters, there were David, king and Amos, shepherd. Many different level people, and each different age and each different situation, but 66 books of Old Testament and New Testament are connected with consistent subjects and contents.
Because the real author of the Bible is God.
If the Bible was written by the wisdom of men, it was not possible to have unity and consistency.
It tells us that even though so many people dictated the Bible, but the original writer is only One, God.
The one who report the Bible calls ‘reporter’ not ‘author’. The reason is that the reporters reported the words of God carrying by the Holy Spirit not by their own thinking. God gave the inspiration to each reporters to report the Bible.
Nobody can realize the will of God, when they read and translate the Bible without carrying by Holy Spirit.
2 Peter 1/20-21 Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet’s own interpretation. For prophecy never had its origin in the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit
2 Timothy 3/16-17 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
