Mark 2:1~12

A few days later, when Jesus again entered Capernaum, the people heard that he had come home. So many gathered that there was no room left, not even outside the door, and he preached the word to them. Some men came, bringing to him a paralytic, carried by four of them.

Since they could not get him to Jesus because of the crowd, they made an opening in the roof above Jesus and, after digging through it, lowered the mat the paralyzed man was lying on. When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic,

“Son, your sins are forgiven.”

Now some teachers of the law were sitting there, thinking to themselves,

“Why does this fellow talk like that? He’s blaspheming! Who can forgive sins but God alone?”

Immediately Jesus knew in his spirit that this was what they were thinking in their hearts, and he said to them,

“Why are you thinking these things? Which is easier: to say to the paralytic, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Get up, take your mat and walk’? But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins. . . .”

He said to the paralytic,

“I tell you, get up, take your mat and go home.”

He got up, took his mat and walked out in full view of them all. This amazed everyone and they praised God, saying,

“We have never seen anything like this!”

When Jesus saw their faith, his sins were forgiven by Jesus. Because, Jesus is almighty God who has the authority to forgive our sins. Therefore, though, Jesus came to this earth as a man, we should believe in him as our savior by studying the prophecy of the Bible. Then, how can we be forgiven by Jesus?

Matt 26:17~19, 26~28

On the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the disciples came to Jesus and asked,

“Where do you want us to make preparations for you to eat the Passover?”

He replied,

“Go into the city to a certain man and tell him, ‘The Teacher says: My appointed time is near. I am going to celebrate the Passover with my disciples at your house.'”

So the disciples did as Jesus had directed them and prepared the Passover. …

Matt 26:26~28

While they were eating, Jesus took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to his disciples, saying,

“Take and eat; this is my body.”

Then he took the cup, gave thanks and offered it to them, saying,

“Drink from it, all of you. This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sin.

Jesus want to keep the Passover with his disciples. Because Jesus promised the forgiveness of sins on the Passover. When we keep the Passover by eating the Bread and drinking the wine, we can eat the flesh of Jesus and drink His blood.

Why should we eat the flesh of Jesus and drink His blood?

Jesus is almighty God who gives us eternal life.

John 6:53~54

Jesus said to them,

“I tell you the truth, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.”

Jesus wants to give us the eternal life by eating the flesh of Jesus and drink His blood. So Jesus was crucified on the cross instead of our sins.

Christ Ahnshanghong wants us to keep the Passover according to the teachings of Jesus. Because, we can be forgiven our sins through the blood of Jesus on the Passover.

Ephe 1:7

In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace.

Christ Ahnsahnghong is none other than Jesus himself. They are the same God who can give us the forgiveness of sins and eternal life.

We, sinners, can be forgiveness of sins by keeping the feasts of God in the World Mission Society Church of God.
