WMSCOG believes in Christ Ahnsahnghong. Why does WMSCOG believe in Christ Ahnsahnghong? Why is Christ Ahnsahnghong God? There’re many reasons and evidence but the most important is that He brought the tree of life.

Gen 2:16-17 And the Lord God commanded the man, “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die.”

God commanded Adam and Eve not to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil because they will certainly die when they eat from it. However, Adam and Eve who were deceived by Satan ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and they became to die.

Gen 2:9 The Lord God made all kinds of trees grow out of the ground—trees that were pleasing to the eye and good for food. In the middle of the garden were the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

There was the tree of life as well as the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. So Adam and Even who were destined to die ran to the tree of life to receive eternal life. However, they couldnt eat from the tree of life because God blocked the way to the tree of life.

Gen 3:22-24 And the Lord God said, “The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever.” So the Lord God banished him from the Garden of Eden to work the ground from which he had been taken. After he drove the man out, he placed on the east side of the Garden of Eden cherubim and a flaming sword flashing back and forth to guard the way to the tree of life.

Even though they, those who sinned, could live forever by eating from the tree of life, they couldnt have eternal life.

This history of the Garden of Even is a parable. There must be the reality in the New Testament.

Jn 6:53-54 Jesus said to them, “Very truly I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.

 

Jesus who told the reality of what He said in the parables said that whoever eats His flesh and drinks His blood has eternal life. What should Adam and Eve eat from the tree of life in the Garden of Eden? The tree of life. The reality of the tree of life is Jesus' flesh and blood. Then how can we eat Jesus' flesh and blood?

Mt 26:26-28 While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, “Take and eat; this is my body.” Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.

This is the scene where Jesus established the Passover of the New Covenant. On that day, He said the Passover bread is His body and the Passover wine is His blood. By eating bread and wine of the Passover, we can have eternal life. We can eat from the tree of life with the grace of God.

This Passover was abolished by Satan and was disappeared in history. No one could keep the Passover and no one could restore it. In other words, the way to the tree of life was blocked again. Without the tree of life, how can we get eternal life? How can we be set free from the sinful world? We can never have eternal life ourselves. In the Garden of Eden, only God could block the way to the tree of life and open it. 2,000 years ago, only Jesus Christ brought us the tree of life by establishing the Passover of the New Covenant. Likewise, only God can give us the tree of life in this age.

Heb 9:28 so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.

God also promised us to appear a second time. The purpose of His second coming is to bring salvation. Salvation is eternal life. Therefore the second coming Christ must bring the truth of the tree of life, the Passover of the New Covenant. And as was prophesied, Christ Ahnsahnghong restored the Passover of the New Covenant. In other words, He brought us the tree of life and He is the only God the Savior.

There was no one who brought us the Passover of the New Covenant except Christ Ahnsahnghong. Because He is God the Savior.  Let's have strong faith in Christ Ahnsahnghong and keep the Passover, the truth of the tree of life.
