The day after Passover, which gives the forgiveness of sins and the blessing of eternal life, is the Feast of Unleavened Bread.
After Israelites came out of Egypt, King Pharaoh, whose heart was changed, led a special chariot and immediately pursued the Israelites. Though the Red Sea is intercepting in front of Israel, God divided the Red Sea and He allows the Israelites to cross safely and put the Egyptian army in the Red Sea.
In order not to forget these hardships, God made them eat unleavened bread and bitter herbs every year.
Now, God's children participate in the sufferings of Christ by fasting on this day.
Mark 2:20 ..the time will come when the bridegroom (Jesus) will be taken from them,(die on the cross) and on that day they will fast.
World Mission Society Church of God (WMSCOG) keeps the Feast of unleavened bread and remembers Jesus' suffering and sacrifice with a thankful mind by fasting as God's teachings.

I feel thankful that we can participate in Jesus' suffering by doing very tiny things which are keeping the feast of Unleavened Bread and fasting on that day. I give eternal thanks and glory to our God for Your love and sacrifice.
Thanks to God. I never miss God's blessing.
Jesus' suffering is because of our sins. We can be received eternal life through God's sacrifice to save us. Let's keep the feast of Unleavened Bread by fasting.
Why did Jesus who is God come to this earth? To save us
Why did Jesus who is God pass away on the cross? Instead of our sins. Likewise Jesus who is God gave everything for us, to save us running toward and give eternal life through the New Covenant Passover with his flesh n blood. That is the feast of Uneavened Bread.
Yes, for our spiritual lives, God sacrificed on the cross. And we come to have eternal lives through the Passover. Let's not forget God's love and sacrifice.
To give us the forgiveness of sins, our spiritual Father had to be mocked, flogged and dead instead of us! So the saints of the WMSCOG participate in the suffering of our spiritual Father by fasting according to the Bible.
The feasts of God having promise of blessing for us is love. To establish them, God had to sacrifice himself.
The Cross is not the remembrance of Jesus' sacrifice. The feast of Unleavened bread with fasting is the remembrance of his sacrifice. Why? Because Jesus said that. Do not make any form of idol and fasting when he die.
The present suffering is the path God has taken first.
So we can endure following his steps 🚶♂️.
We love you so much 💓.
Thanks to God the Father and God the Mother who give us eternal life through the Passover and fulfill the prophecy through the Feast of Unleavened Bread. The members of Church of God keep the Feast of Unleavened Bread by fasting every year.
Every feast of God has a deep meaning. And they are for us who are sinners.
Let's keep with all our heart.
