Some people who don’t keep the Sabbath claim saying,
"Just like Jesus as a Jew got circumcised and kept all the customs of the law, He kept the Sabbath only as a Jew.
Therefore, there is no reason that we should keep the Sabbath following Jesus".
If Jesus kept the Sabbath only because He followed the regulations as a Jew,
then where could we find the record showing the examples of worship not as a Jew but as a Christ?
Jesus' keeping the Sabbath is showing us an example of worship as a Christ.
Jesus got circumcised and followed the custom of the law before He got baptized.
The time when Jesus got circumcised was on the 8th day after He was born,
and the time when His parents went up to Jerusalem to keep the customs and the laws about the firstborn male was also in His babyhood.
Since it was before the time when Jesus preached the good news of the Kingdom as a Christ,
His parents followed the regulations of the Jew according to the Old Covenant laws.
He started to preach the good news of the Kingdom since He got baptized.
Though Jesus lived His life as a Jew before He got baptized,
it was the life of ‘a Christ’ who would save the whole world that He had lived since His baptism.
Mark 1:1~15 The beginning of the gospel about Jesus Christ, the Son of God. •••
At that time Jesus came from Nazareth in Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan. •••
Jesus went into Galilee, proclaiming the good news of God.
"The time has come," he said. "The kingdom of God is near. Repent and believe the good news!"
Matthew 4:17~23 From that time on Jesus began to preach, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near." •••
Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues,
preaching the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people.
Was it before or after the baptism when He kept the Sabbath?
It was definitely after His got baptized.
Thus, Jesus' keeping the Sabbath is not the regulations of the Jew but the gospel of Christ.
We must keep the Sabbath according to the examples of Jesus.

Amen! Those who truly believe in Jesus should keep the Sabbath following the example of Jesus!
Jesus had kept the Sabbath day as a Jew before being baptized. However, after of it,he lived a Christ and kept the Sabbath day as an example we have to keep it
Jesus kept the Sabbath according to the New Covenant, not as a Jew. So we should keep the Sabbath as the teachings of Jesus, our God.
It was after His baptism given by John that Jesus began His ministry as the Christ.
So the Sabbath day that Jesus set example was in accordance with the New Covenant established by Jesus Himself.
If we deny the example of Jesus Christ, just believing makes people get to the kingdom of heaven? We need to know why Jesus got baptized and kept the Passover, Sabbath and so on even though He is God. It's for us!
The Sabbath that Jesus kept is a New Covenant. Therefore, We should follow the example of Jesus and keep the Sabbath of the New Covenant.
I want to ask those who do not observe the Sabbath.
Is the Sunday worship that you observed is the example of Jesus?
Where is the record that Jesus' observance of Sunday in the Bible?
Their arguments are just abominable excuses.
Jesus Christ got baptism and lived a life of Christ and gave us an example to save us. His keeping the Sabbath is also an example to make us keep it. So if we truly believe in Jesus as Christ, then we must keep the Sabbath just as Jesus Christ did.
We follow Jesus' teaching so we have to keep the sabbath day as Jesus.
