All things including the history of the Israelites' 40-year-life in the desert were recorded in the Bible as the lesson for us who are living in this last age. Cross is nothing but an idol. The thing that we must commemorate is God's sacrifice shedding His blood on the cross for the forgiveness of our sins. We must always give thanks to God and observe the Passover of the New Covenant which was established with God's blood.

When I was a little kid or young while attending a church, I felt that the cross was a precious thing. However, when studying that the cross is just an idol through the Bible, that came me as a shock. Now, thanks to Father and Mother, I've been worshiping or keeping the truths of the new covenant which Christ Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother restored and leads us to the way to eternal life.

There was a time when the cross was considered holy. This was before I knew my father Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother. At that time, I think I thought the cross was Jesus itself. When I was afraid, I held the cross in my hand and hoped it would protect me. This is not an act of believing in the Creator. It is to believe in the cross. The cross cannot intervene between my heart for God and God the Elohim. Only Elohim God save me from the hell of sins. Cross is just wooden accessory that God hate idol. So we have to keep Passover of God's love that is New Covenant.

The cross can neither walk nor speak something for us and neither more nor less than an idol. Whoever wants to enter the kingdom of God must sever himself from worshiping the cross. God has taught us that using the cross is even standing against God the Savior. Nevertheless, most Christians have a great regard for the cross. If they keep using the cross then, they'll fall into a flutter on the day of judgment. They will be appalled at the results of their deeds. Our salvation depends on God's blood, not on the cross and this is to be remembered by all people.

The cross is an idol made by man and cannot save or bless us.
Stop worshiping the cross, which God said is idolatry,
Let's keep the Passover of the New Covenant, which contains the sacrifice of Christ shed on the cross for our lives, and receive the blessing of forgiveness of sins and eternal life.

This verse is my favorite verse. "For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your forefathers" so truly right! God saved us through sacrifice. So not make an any forms idol, let us only we belive our elohim God.

For a long time, the Israelites worshipped to bronze snake that is just an idol.
I don't want to do so. We can worship to God by keeping the God's commandments and going to true church that is World Mission Society Church of God!!

The Bible is the word of God. so only those who obey God's word can be saved and be blessed. the second of the Ten Commandments is about the Idol that made no image and should not serve. the bronze snake in Moses' time is a prophecy about the cross in these day. the cross is just an idol that must be broken like a bronze snake.

It's so amazing that God already prophesied worshiping cross today through the history of Israelite worshiping bronze snake. And Jesus mentioned this history when explaining his sacrifice on the cross. What should we do? Of course, we must not worship cross which is just wood, stone and iron but keep the New Covenant established by Jesus' blood shed from the cross.

YES! The use of the cross as a symbol of the church or the erection of the cross if nowhere to be found in the New Testament which was written in the Apostolic Age. The cross god beautified and became the symbol of Christianity since the Constantine era. Because the church began to be secularized rapidly as Emperor Constantine legalized Christianity in 313 and gave them preferential treatment. Therefore the cross has nothing to do with the faith in the Apostolic Age. We must never set up a cross or think it as the symbol of the church.

How foolish it is that God's people worship in front of the execution tool; the Cross-reverence, even though they're misunderstood that the cross is holy. God Elohim will never be pleased when They see Their children worhipping Them with the cross of the mere wood.

According to the prophetical history in the Bible, many christians still worship cross as if it gives us life. We should look at the mistake that the Israelites have made, and not repeat it in our age.

The cross is just idolatry that God does not make. Through the history of the church and the prophecy in the bible we can understand this fact. No words can be excuse it.

Only through the blood of Jesus, we can receive salvation. Idol can't save us. So I hope all people keep the new covenant which is established by the blood of Jesus.

Amen. I could understand the cross is idolatry. God said we must not make a form of anything in order to worship God. However, still many people do not listen to the words of God. If we want to receive blessings of salvation from God, we have to follow God's words and put them into practice. What we have to do is to preach the correct teachings of God to the people of the world.
