Many people think that the Passover is a low of the Old Testament so we don’t need to keep it.
Is that really the case?
If Passover is an Old Testament law and doesn't need to be kept in the New Testament, then Jesus shouldn't have kept it either.
But Jesus kept Passover, and he told his disciples that they should keep Passover, too.
Luke 22:15, 20 “I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer . . .” In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.”
We can see that Jesus celebrated Passover with his disciples.
Therefore, the argument that there was no need to observe Passover in the New Testament period is a poor one.
If we claim to believe in and follow Jesus, then we must observe Passover as Jesus observed Passover.
So what about Jesus' disciples?
1 Corinthians 5:7 Get rid of the old yeast that you may be a new batch without yeast -as you really are. For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed. Therefore let us keep the Passover the Festival [Passover] . . .
1 Corinthians is a book written after Jesus' crucifixion.
So we can see that the apostles kept Passover even after Jesus' crucifixion.
In "Therefore let us keep the Festival", the meaning of "Therefore" is "because Jesus was sacrificed on the cross".
So, it's not that we don't have to observe Passover because Jesus was sacrificed on the cross, it's that we have to observe Passover because Jesus was sacrificed on the cross.

Amen! we can confirm that the New Covenant Passover is kept in this age, too. Keeping the Passover is Jesus' teaching. In addition, the apostles and the saints of the Early Church kept the Passover as Jesus' teaching. the New Covenant is everlasting covenant that should be kept till go back Heaven. this is the will of God. Heaven is preparing to those who obey God's teaching. Let's preach the Passover to the all people!
Jesus came to the earth 2,000 years ago and allowed us new covenant of the Passover which had to be celebrated with bread and wine not with the lamb. It is because Jesus himself became the lamb of the Passover. Jesus sacrificed on the cross and fulfilled many prophecies written in the Bible. What shall we do? We are to follow New Covenant which was established by Jesus 2,000 years ago! Thanks to God for teaching us God's way in WMSCOG!
It was that Jesus' will before he died on the cross means that he eagerly desired to keep the Passover. Don't we have to keep the Passover because it was given by the will of the Father of our souls? Let us all be the ones who enter heaven by keeping the Passover of the new covenant established by God's flesh and blood.
Jesus fulfilled the old covenant which we cannot keep completely as for incomplete beings. Jesus allowed us the perfect law of Christ through which we can be saved!
We must cherish the Passover that Jesus personally modeled on.
Today we celebrate the New Covenant Passover that Jesus established by eating bread and drinking wine.
Passover is an important truth that we receive eternal life.
I hope I can share this truth with many people and get to heaven with them.
The Passover contains God's holy providence of salvation,great love,and sacrifice. It must be observed by all people who desire eternal life.
God commanded us to keep the Passover to the last days. So we must keep the Passover as God's saying. But, unfortunately the Passover was abolished by Roman Catholic. And then, it was Christ Ahnsahnghong who open the way to Passover that only God can open. So, Father Ahnsahnghong is our 2nd coming Jesus and we must keep the Passover with the bread and wine like 2,000 years ago. Thanks to Father Ahnsahnghong.
In the Time of the New Testament, the early church kept the New Covenant Passover that Jesus Himself established. not the Passover in the time of the Old testament. the Passover that we must keep for salvation is the New Covenant that was kept in the early Church. Jesus Himself established and kept the Passover of the New Covenant. In addition, Jesus' disciples and the Apostles also kept the New Covenant Passover and preached it. we should do what Jesus set an example for us. In order to enter Heaven's Kingdom, we must keep the Passover of the New Covenant in WMSCOG.
Passover is good news of salvation, and through the Passover God distinguishes His people from those who are not.
Jesus who is our Savior kept the New Covenant Passover. Following God's teaching, we have to keep the New Covenant Passover to receive salvation. Among many churches only WMSCOG keep the Passover. Come to WMSCOG and keep the New Covenant Passover.
Amen! The truth of the Passover is very important for our salvation. By keeping the Passover of the New Covenant, we can recognize Who our Savior is, receive the forgiveness of our sins and eternal life, and escape disasters. The Passover of the New Covenant was established by Jesus. After Jesus' ascension, it was destroyed by Satan, so nobody was able to keep it. This means no one can receive eternal life. Thankfully, the Second Coming Christ Ahnsahnghong restored the New Covenant of the Passover. We should value this prized truth and keep it with our whole hearts.
