God gave the children of God the promise of eternal life and the forgiveness of sins and entrusted them to carry out the mission of the last prophecy.
In order for it to go off well, patience is one of the attributes we must have.

If some desired results weren't achieved in a life of faith, it's easy to commit foolishness by either giving up faith halfway or shifting focus from God to something else.
The Bible explains such behavior is like a fish out of water.
Then, how can we receive our desired results through patience?

John 15:1-5
"I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener.
He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful.
You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you.
Remain in me, and I will remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.
"I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.

Jesus compared us to branches whose role is only to bear fruit. We should remain in God, then, we can bear much fruit. The branch separated from the vine can do nothing. Eventually, it cannot help being thrown into the fire and burned.

So, our spirit must always be with God and live in the words of God. Let us persevere and endure while walking the path of faith so that we can see the spiritual Canaan, the Kingdom of Heaven.
