Our physical home is the earth, where we were born and raised, but our soul home is the kingdom of heaven.

Genesis 47:8-9 Pharaoh asked him, "How old are you?"
And Jacob said to Pharaoh, "The years of my pilgrimage are a hundred and thirty. My years have been few and difficult, and they do not equal the years of the pilgrimage of my fathers."

When Pharaoh, the king of Egypt, asked Jacob his age, he replied that the 130 years he had lived were the years of his pilgrimage.

He testified the same about his ancestors, saying, "The years of our fathers' pilgrimage."

This means that Jacob's ancestors also lived a life of pilgrimage.

The ancestors of faith-Abel, Noah, and Abraham-all testified to being foreigners and strangers in the land.

This is consistent with Jacob's testimony that he and his ancestors lived a life of exile.

Since our ancestors in faith and we are all equally living in this land (earth) in flesh, we too are foreigners and strangers in this land.

What does it mean that we live as foreigners and strangers on this earth?

It means that this earth is not our home.

Our physical home is this earth, but the home of our souls is not this earth.

So where is the home of our souls?

The home of our souls is the heavenly realm, the kingdom of heaven.

This is a testimony to the fact that while we live on earth in physical bodies, we were originally angels living in a glorified heaven.

So how do we get back to heaven, our home?

Isaiah 59:1-2 Surely the arm of the LORD is not too short to save, nor his ear too dull to hear.
But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear.

Matthew 9:13 .But go and learn what this means: 'I desire mercy, not sacrifice.' For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners."

We sinned against God in heaven and came down to earth to live out our wandering years.

The only way we can get back home is when our sins are forgiven and we can return to our home, Heaven.

You said that we can receive forgiveness of sins through the blood of Jesus.

What does the blood of Jesus mean, and how can it be used to forgive sins?

Jesus promised His blood as the wine of the Passover, which contains the blessing of forgiveness of sins.

Therefore, in order to receive the forgiveness of sins, we must keep the Passover of the New Covenant.

Today, the Church of God is the only church that keeps the Passover as Jesus taught.

May we all be blessed to return to our home in heaven through the Passover celebrated by the Church of God.
