Those who insist that the Passover is just a law of the Old Testament and don’t need to keep it anymore, don’t understand the God’s administration fully. There is a change of the priesthood, there must also be a change of the law. (Heb 7:12) Thus there must be the change of method to observe the God’s feast, and it doesn’t mean that the Law of God has been abolished. If the Passover had been merely a teaching of the Old Testament times, Jesus Christ would not have celebrated it with His disciples.

Mt 26:26~28 While they were eating, Jesus took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to his disciples, saying “Take and eat: this is my body.” Then he took the cup[wine], gave thanks and offered it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.”

Definitely Jesus kept the Passover with His disciples, the apostles of the New Covenant. Furthermore He eagerly wanted to observe the Passover with them. (Lk 22:15) If the Passover didn’t have to be kept in the New Testament times, Jesus Christ would not have desired so eagerly to observed it with His disciples. As long as we following the teachings of Jesus and the last will of God, we surely reach the kingdom of heaven, keeping the Passover till the end.
